Suffering is part of being human—but you don’t have to face it on your own.

We all carry burdens that can leave us feeling empty, overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected—from ourselves and the people we love. You weren’t meant to carry all of that by yourself. I come alongside my clients to help share the load, making space for their pain, their questions, and their hope for something better.

I see people for all kinds of reasons—grief, trauma, anxiety, anger, relationship struggles. But often, underneath it all, there’s a feeling of “stuck.” Some are caught in cycles of self-blame or shame, wondering if they’re the problem. Others describe a kind of inner chaos—like something’s “off,” but they can’t quite name it.

I don’t take for granted the courage it takes to seek therapy. You are valuable.

So often, shame, confusion, and fear can hijack our hope and leave us feeling lost. I’m passionate about the kind of transformation that becomes possible when we feel safe enough to show up honestly—with our pain, our questions, and even the parts of ourselves we’ve tried to hide.

In our work together, I’m present and attuned to what’s happening in the room. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods like EFIT, EMDR, interpersonal neurobiology, and polyvagal theory, but more than anything, it’s about building a space that feels real—where your emotions are honored, and your story is held with care. I won’t rush you or try to “fix” you. Instead, I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you toward greater clarity, connection, and confidence in who you are.

Sessions with me are…

Intentional, attuned, and grounded in deep respect. My hope is to create a sacred space where you feel safe, valued, and never alone in what you're facing. Together, we will set a pace to make room for honesty, hope, and healing.

My Background

Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings—including Texas Children’s Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, nonprofits supporting families of terminally ill children, and shelters for women affected by violence. Each of these experiences deepened my commitment to sitting with people in their most vulnerable moments—not to fix them, but to be with them in their pain and help them feel less alone.

After years of study and practice, I earned my LPC credential and continue to grow through specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT),

EMDR, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic therapy, and polyvagal theory. My own lived experiences fuel my passion for creating a space where clients feel safe, valued, and truly seen.

When I’m not in session, I love baking, hiking, fishing, and spending time with my husband of 25 years, our three children, and close friends. My favorite word in any language is hope—because I believe it’s what allows us to keep going, even in the darkest moments.
